We toured the local LeFarge Cement plant which is making the concrete for the Canada Line Rapid Transit project as well as many Olympic projects, and took in the view from the top of the plant tower - which is the highest point in Richmond.
We also showed them one of the large local Buddhist temples, and after dinner took them to the Richmond Night Market which get over 20,000 visitors each summer weekend night. Before they departed Sunday we took them to Steveston Harbour for a waterside tour with the Coast Guard Auxiliary.
