Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup

As well as our club members' regular cleanups of the waterfront Steveston Linear Park, each September our club takes part in the Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup spending a morning performing a special cleanup of the Steveston shoreline.

In 2007 we collected 10 bags of garbage, over a thousand cigarette butts, and a pig's head!
In 2007 we were joined for the cleanup by students from McMath Secondary and Homma Elementary schools, and St Anne's Church.
