Australia Group Study Exchange Visit

May 17-18, 2005

The Group Study Exchange group from Queensland Australia was in Steveston on May 17-18, 2005. We visited Steveston including our Rotary Club, the Steveston Harbour Authority, Britannia Heritage Shipyard, and the Gulf of Georgia Cannery, before a quick water tour with the Canadian Coast Guard Auxiliary.

The next day we visited the International Buddhist Temple, Richmond City Hall, had a meeting with MLA Linda Reid, lunch at Pajos, viewed construction of the River Rock Casino, and visited the Deeley Motorcycle Collection, Aberdeen Mall, the Gateway Theatre, and had dinner with the Sunset Rotary Club.
