Welcome! The McMath Interact Club is a group of over 60 students concerned about our local community and the world. With the support of the administrators and teachers of McMath Secondary School and the members of the Rotary Club of Steveston, our fast growing club plans another successful year.

2010-2011

In 2010-11 our Interact Club has chosen many special projects; to help alleviate local poverty, to provide a social for seniors, to improve community health, and to assist a community in India.

2009-2010

Our Local Project

Care Packages for Union Gospel Mission

This year we chose to put together care packages for the homeless through Union Gospel Mission. Paco Lee has been the chair for this great local project and we have collected supplies and donations through our school and local businesses.

Our International Project

Shelter Box

For our International Project, we selected ShelterBox, with Dharra Buddicha as the chair. ShelterBox is a disaster-relief program that delivers 'emergency shelter, warmth and dignity to people affected by disaster worldwide.' We have held a Bottles-For-Boxes fundraiser in which students at McMath brought in recyclables in order to raise money.
